How do I thank a peer reviewer for their contribution?

When a peer reviewer has completed their task, their review will appear in the ‘Reviewers’ section of the ‘Review’ tab. You can read it by clicking ‘Read Review’.

Once you have read the review, the options in the ‘Reviewers’ section will now show as ‘Thank Reviewer’ or ‘Revert Decision’. Clicking ‘Thank Reviewer’ will bring up a template email that you can edit to thank the reviewer. NB: The ‘Thank Reviewer’ button will only appear for a given article’s assigned editor.
