How do I chase a reviewer who has not replied to a review invitation?

If a reviewer has not replied to your initial peer review invitation then the system will send out an automatic follow up email to remind the invitee. The length of time for this is dependent upon the journal.

Sometimes, you may need to send out your own follow-up reminder, in this case you can send an email to the reviewer through the ‘Reviewers’ section in the ‘Review’ tab of the submission.This section will show all of the reviewers currently invited and the stage at which they are at.

To send an email, click on the arrow next to the reviewer’s name to make several further options visible, and which will include the option to ‘Email Reviewer’. Selecting this will open a template that you can edit to send an email through the OJS.
