How can I access journal-level files for editors and authors?

The editorial system is able to host files that are available to journal users. Examples of such files may be article templates to help write the draft manuscript or checklists for editors to use prior to making editorial decisions - e.g a desk assessment or pre-typesetting acceptance checks.

Note: files uploaded to the Document library will be available to both editors and authors. If they are marked as ‘public’ they will also be available to the wider journal audience, if the link is shared.

To access files in the file library:

  1. Click the ‘Library’ button in the top left corner of a submission

  2. this will bring up a Submission Library window (somewhere you can store files specific to this submission that are not part of the article itself - e.g. permission forms). Click on the 'View Document Library' button

  3. the Document Library will share any journal-wide documents that have been uploaded. Click on the file name to download the file
