Journal specific questions

This knowledge base focuses on the technical platform that the journal uses and general information about publishing, providing help guides for all journal users to navigate through the submission and editorial workflows. Example of journal-specific questions that are not covered in this knowledge base include:

• How much is the Article Processing Charge (APC)? - this is not covered here as each journal will have it's own APC structure (or have no APCs). Authors should consult with the journals submission guidelines to find information on publication fees
• Word count - the knowledge base will not include journal-specific policies, so questions on things such as word count should be viewed on the journal's submission guidelines page. If this is not found, contact the Principal Contact for the journal via the Contact page
• Editorial policies - the knowledge base will not include journal-specific policies, so questions on specific policies should be viewed on the journal's website. Each journal should have an Editorial Policies page present. If this is not found, contact the Principal Contact for the journal via the Contact page
• Updates on submission progress - for information about how an existing submission is moving through the workflow, contact the assigned editor by replying to an email you have received regarding your submission, or contact the Principal Contact via the Contact page to get in touch with the journal's main contact person.
