How do I register an account for a journal?

To register an account:

  1. Go to the relevant journal’s homepage and click the ‘Account’ button, found in the top right corner
  2. Click on the ‘Register’ text button
  3. Fill in your user details
    1. Of the details on this page only your first name, last name, institution, country and email address are mandatory.
    2. You may opt in/out of receiving updates from the journal but to be on the reviewer database you must opt into being a reviewer.
    3. Please add review interests into your profile data. This will help the editors match suitable submissions to the most suitable peer reviewers.
  4. Click the ‘Register’ button
  5. You will be sent a validation email - click the link in this email to activate the new account
    1. if the email is not received, check your spam/junk folder

Occasionally, the registration page may not work due to interference with other software on the user’s browsers/devise – e.g. some secrecy focused browsers, ad-blockers, or geographical restrictions may inadvertently remove specific elements of the registration form (e.g. the reCAPTCHA). In such cases, contact the editorial team or submit a technical support ticket via the Contact page and one of our support team will be able to assist with the account registration.
