Under which licence can I publish my work?
All ]u[ Ubiquity journals are published with the Creative Commons Attribution licence (CC BY) set as default. This license allows reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to the creator. The license allows for commercial use. This approach maximises the potential impact of a publication, with as few barriers as possible to reuse.
Books:
]u[ Ubiquity offers authors the option whether to use the Creative Commons Attribution licence (CC BY) or the Attribution-NonCommercial licence (CC BY-NC). Both of these licences allow reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to the creator. The only difference between the two options is that CC BY allows for commercial reuse whilst CC BY-NC only permits non-commercial uses of the work. Information on why non-commercial licences are permitted for books can be found here .
